Hi everyone!
Today is week 2 weigh in day. I really hate stepping on the scale!! At any rate, I did it and although I did not lose as much as last week, it's still a loss. Today's stats:
Current weight: 162
Weight lost this week: 2 lbs
Overall weight loss: 7lbs
I'll take it! I did take in a lot of salt yesterday so maybe that has something to do with the small loss. I went to dinner with some old friends last night. I ate a black bean burger with no bun and a couple of fries..oh yeah..and 2 glasses of wine.
All in all I can't be too disappointed. Excited to see what the new week brings! Today I started on the 1.8 mg dose so I am bracing myself for nausea, which seems to ensue each time I up my dose. I plan to start back on an exercize plan starting Saturday (August 1st..a new month) so maybe that will speed up my weight loss some.

Love reading reading your posts. I've been on Victoza for 4 weeks Tuesday and have lost 16.8. I have @ 75 lbs to go. Thinking I'd like to blog too... Just gotta figure out how. 😄

ReplyDeleteThanks Phyllis!! Congrats on your weightloss!! That is awesome! This has been a struggle for sure, but the Saxenda does seem to be helping me! I like keeping this blog so hopefully I can go back in a 6 months to a year and say "remember when?". Also hoping it will help others who may want to try Saxenda. You should do a blog..its very easy. ReplyDeleteThanks for posting your story online. I'm starting Saxenda today and it's nice to read someone else's real experience with it. I previously tried Qsymia, but I had side effects that caused vision problems, so I stopped in March and gained back all 22 pounds I had lost last year.
